Ballinamore Tourism Festival May 2013
John Potters showed his class in the new Ballinamore Tourism Festival held on Lough Garradice in County Cavan, Southern Ireland, coming 1st overall with 32,780 kg., Cathal Huhges had the best weight of the week on the last day to take him in to 2nd place with 30,180 kg, local expert Francis McGoldick used all his skills on the feeder to finish 3rd with 29,780 kg.
I had an up and down week, doing well on some days and not good on others to finish 9th overall with 24,200 kg. It was all feeder fishing, at about 40 mts, the lough was very clear and the fish were in the deep water.
