Fermanagh Cup 2014

Andy Mundell’s 30 kg on day 1 proved to be a match winner as he finished 1st overall with a 49,800 kg total for the week. Nick Seddon also had 30 kg plus on the first day, which had seen him leading for most of the week, and he finished just 1 kg behind Andy for 2nd place. Match organiser Mark Silman was also very close finishing 3rd with 47,300 kg. I just managed to get into the main payout finishing 10th with 38 kg.

This was the first year for the Fermanagh Cup, a new festival organised by Mark Silman who did a great job getting many various sponsors involved for a massive £4000 first prize payout. Some of the sections were really tough, but generally the 80 competing anglers had a great time.

My week was ok, I finished top of my rotation, winning 3 of the 5 section zones.
