Rod Scott won the match


Another brilliant performance by Rod Scott, quite fittingly resulted in him winning his dad’s Memorial Festival, after winning last weeks Mahons Festival, it was more of the same as Roddy totalled 64,650 kg well in front of current World Champion Sean Ashby who finished 2nd with 57,890 kg, keeping it in the family Rod’s brother Mike was 3rd with 54,450 kg and I finished 4th with 50,390 kg.




The Mal Scott Memorial Festival is held in and around the lakes and rivers near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. At last some quality roach had started to appear in the river, but it was perch in the Killadeas and Boa Island sections that dominated the results.




I only really had one good day that was Thursday catching 16,500 kg of quality roach on the pole from peg 28 on Cornagrade section to finish 2nd overall on the day.
